The production is inspired by the life and work of Art Deco Painter Tamara de Lempicka. De Lempicka was ambitious, ferociously unapproachable and manipulative. She used psychological and sexual dependencies to further her own career. inFlux’s dancers breathe life into the figures of the paintings, they give these characters a sensuous presence and start the movement where the plaster begins to crack.
