As the title might imply, this work deals with time in it’s varying dimensions. The human existence is regulated by time. Time expresses itself in intervals, sequences, rhythms, chain reactions and repetition. It is about time, to hold still for one moment and shine a light on our handling of time: How long is a minute, an hour, a day? Is it possible that time passes by like an eternity or is over in the blink of an eye? Do we owe or own time? Do we spend or save it? Three women share everyday moments with the audience: Human encounters that are dominated by time. How does the audience react? Which fundamental mechanisms dominate the situation? The scenes increase in speed and repetition, they become so fast, so repetitive that they become absurd. Can the performers break free? The performers are trying to escape time in order to pause for a moment in a suspense-packed competition against time and our perception of time. inFlux offers one hour in which dancers can be observed in what they are doing. However is it not the audience, which is offering time in turn? «Die gestundete Zeit» becomes audible through the music composed by Kiko C. Esseiva. Kiko enables a possible escape from structured time by way of sound and tone and thus makes the experience acoustically tangible.
