…gorging on a book…nipping at it, hardly digesting it… …to poke one’s nose into a book, sniffing at it… …being alone with a book, getting into conversation with it, to read out loud, to be told the story of a book… …having had enough of a book, throwing it away, fighting for it… …not being able to put a book down, yet having to shut it nonetheless… …putting a book in the pocket and letting in blossom therein… continuing one’s own path yet slightly altered…
A library, a place of the forgotten comes to life. Where books populate shelves, readers fill up the inbetween. A child falls out of the rack and thus the line between reality and the stories unfold and become a life on their own. An ancient story between a book and its reader evolves further in this production in all its plethora and sensuality.
