Ursula Mummentaler designed the atrium in the architectural landmark building Peter Merian Haus, Basel. This space becomes the stage for inFlux. Four levels turn into interchangeable stages for dancers and musicians while the audience find themselves dispersed on the opposite four levels. The clear architectural structure challenges the dance. A dialogue between architecture and movement is the outcome. inFlux was commissioned for this public intervention by the architects Zwimpfer Partner Architekten.
